Celebrating 30 years

I'm very proud to announce that this October 2016 I celebrated 30 years in the piano trade.

It was October 1986 I left Cornwall and moved up to Somerset to start an apprenticeship in a piano workshop for a company called Heritage Music. After a years training there I attended the London College of furniture and studied 'Piano Technology' for 2 years, before returning to Heritage Music for a further year of tuning and piano repairs in the workshop.
Since then I have worked for several piano shops including 'Markson/Phelps Pianos' of London and 'Pianoman' in Bridgetown Barbados.

I have now run Wadebridge Music for 18 years having previously worked there for 4 years.

I've come along way since 1986.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank some of the great technicians, tuners and workshop managers I've worked with over the years.

Dave Damon-Johns from Heritage music and all lads and ladies from the old mill workshop.

Julian, Julia and Simon Markson and the guys from the workshops, John our workshop manager, not forgetting all the office staff and tuners.

Michael Gibbons and family and Fabien from 'Pianoman' in Barbados.

Steve Cook from Fletcher and Newman for his patience and general good humour.

Not forgetting Don Kingdom who founded Wadebridge Music.
Of course the biggest thanks has to go to all the customers I've worked for and share my passion for pianos with.
